   My name is Ty. Several years ago, I travelled abroad to Ukraine to visit "The Pearl Orphanage." I immediately fell in love with the children who captured my heart in the first 5 minutes of my visit.  While I was there, I facilitated & lead games, activities, arts & crafts, music, contests, entertainment, recreation, face paintings, & English language practice. The final moments which concluded my visit were very emotionally difficult because it meant saying goodbye to a group of children who had become part of my heart. Since that trip, not one day has gone by I have not missed or thought about the children. 

*****I have later discovered there are 30 children who have been adopted from this orphanage, and now live with families here in USA.  After many days, weeks, & months of pondering this, I have experienced what many refer to as a "light bulb moment." 

       For my next "mission project,"  I will be coordinating, organizing, & planning a reunion for these adopted children & their new American families.  

      The Reunion will be a celebration of the blessing of family.

This 4 to 5 day gathering will be jam packed with singing, dancing, social/ recreational/ entertainment activities, and most importantly great fellowship.

 My goal is to raise enough money to cover the cost of renting the retreat center for 4 to 5 days

and a few meals (approximately $1,000)

The Great News is I have already presently raised $1,000.

Additionally, a very kind anonymous donor has generously agreed to give a matching donation, equal to every penny I raise.  

THIS MEANS I ONLY NEED TO RAISE ANOTHER $1,000 (Which will bring my total money raised to $2,000, Which will then be matched with another $2,000 donation from the anonymous donor & the entire $4,000 goal will be met.)
